Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using CuriScroll ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Description of Service

CuriScroll is a mobile application that provides educational content in the form of bite-sized "scrolls." The App includes features such as personalized content feeds, expansions (detailed explanations), quizzes, badges, and the ability to create and share custom scrolls. Some features may require token purchases.

Account Registration

To use CuriScroll, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your password and account
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use CuriScroll.

User Responsibilities

When using CuriScroll, you agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Respect other users and their content
Not attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
Not use automated systems or bots to access the App
Not interfere with the proper functioning of the App

Content Guidelines

CuriScroll is designed for positive, educational content. When creating custom scrolls or interacting with other users, you may not post content that is:

Harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
Defamatory, obscene, or offensive
Deliberately false or misleading
Promoting illegal activities
Infringing on intellectual property rights
Containing spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.

Tokens and Purchases

CuriScroll uses a token system ("Sparks") for certain features. By purchasing tokens:

You acknowledge that tokens are non-refundable except as required by law
Tokens have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold
Unused tokens remain in your account indefinitely (they do not expire)
Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their terms

Intellectual Property

CuriScroll and its content are protected by intellectual property laws:

The App, its design, features, and original content are owned by CuriScroll
You retain ownership of custom scrolls you create, but grant us a license to display and distribute them within the App
You may not copy, modify, or distribute App content without permission

Disclaimer of Warranties

CuriScroll is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy in our educational content, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. The App is not a substitute for professional advice in any field.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CuriScroll shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for tokens in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and any unused tokens are forfeited.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of CuriScroll after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
